Hi, I’m Vidya — a biologist, science writer, and educator in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Each month I write a column called Inner Nature, chasing the small wonders hiding in plain sight. My first book, Rubber: The Social and Natural History of an Indispensable Substance (Westland Books, 2025), grew out of my doctoral research and my interest in gardening without pesticides.
